WHY DIDN’T PAUL CORNELL GET THE FUCKING JOB ERGHHSHS
In order of when I started watching them and how many episodes I have seen plus commentary:
My first Doctor: Eleven. My sister (10 years younger) told me I should start watching and I picked Series 5, The Eleventh Hour, as my first episode. Still MY Doctor.
Then came:
Nine— I really liked him!
Ten - ADORKABLE!
I really have no complaints whatsoever about New Who. They are all wonderful in their own ways.
Eight —- only got the movie plus a bunch of audio plays. His hair is lovely, and the fact that Paul McGann HUGGED/MARRIED a Dalek makes him one of my favorites.
Four - the SCARF! Sarah Jane! K9! A lot of times Baker’s Doctor wouldn’t listen to others (I’m thinking K9!) and that kind of bugged me. I have seen pretty much all that Netflix has to offer about him. I like Leela and Romana x 2. Only one that kind of creeped me out was “The Lesiure Hive” because the aliens had these weird things on their head that had pieces falling off, and when they all fell off they died. Gotta love the old special effects. Still love it.
Three, Two, Five, and Seven - about one set of episodes each.
Three - I liked Betsy (that’s 3’s car right?), Jo, and the Brigadier.
Two - the Recorder. The end. Also, he had a bowtie.
Five - anyone else just think he was GORGEOUS? And he wore celery. I think the episode I saw him in was when he died/regenerated, so I’d like to check out more of his old eps. Also, he’s brilliant in the short with Ten “Time Crash.”
Seven - ACE. She was a kick-butt companion. I watched the episode about her meeting her mother as a baby….and saving her.
One - saw the Aztecs and the Unearthly Child. The Original. I liked him better in the Aztecs. But the first episode was a good setup for this whole FIFTY YEARS OF AWESOME!!!!!
Haven’t seen any of Six. I think my eyes just hurt looking at his getup.
they’d better have sweet Eleven/River moments. Rose/Ten got a ton of them (holding hands, just smiling at each other….) RIver deserves it.
Amen. So it shall be.
i’m officially in love with Steven Moffat.
(river being bi is no surprise, given that basically every character on Torchwood has shown bisexual inclination at some point, so why not doctor who? I just love seeing proof of his frank openness to it.)
